Hello. My name is Boronius Babbleton and I am writing on behalf of Sir Patrick Charles Simpson III. Some of you may have noticed a lack of correspondence with Sir Simpson, but do not be alarmed he is doing well. I have it on good authority that the young master is successfully navigating his studies at Kansas State University and few honor battles have been necessary. Many of you are probably wondering why I continue without revealing anything of significance. Rest assured that the point of my writing is forthcoming. Sir Simpson hopes that all of you are doing well and will try to converse through this rather bewildering medium known as "blogging" with greater frequency. I hope my pedantic rambles have caused no offense and wish a pleasant return to your routines.

I am blessed with wonderful friends! I got to go home this past weekend and spend some time with old friends who are awesome! I also got to eat Chipotle *drool* and Fazoli's *Breadsticks rule!*. Father's day was a good time...all three Patrick's (Grandpa, Dad, and Me) got to chat and setup a hammock. Unfortunately the hammock wasn't as stable as we hoped (the stand is too big and the hammock is loosely knit)...safe to say that we spent more time lying on the ground than in that infernal contraption. Oh well, my Grandpa is one of those "I can fix anything" kind of guys, so now he has something to keep him out of trouble. He was a farmer back in the day, and my Dad has quite a green thumb as well: well they have an unspoken battle every summer over who has the biggest tomato plants...Grandpa won hands down (thank you Miracle Grow©). Guess you can't undervalue experience! Ok, I am rambling now and ready for bed, take care!

Well it has been a long time! I have been trying to come up with one word to describe the past 10 months, but I think we'll just start off with a clean slate. I am currently working my first desk shift of the summer...woohoo!!! I just returned from a week in good old Olathe, and I can't remember the last time I watched so much TV (did you know that Spike plays 4 hours of Star Trek every day). I am excited to return to the Xanga community, and hope to find out what all of my old friends have been up to. Adios!

Someday I will find a rhythm to this madness called college, and perhaps then I will post regularly on Xanga. Despite the lack of info, take my word that things are busy but great! I love my home, my job, my friends, and of course my family. Now if I can just survive organic chemistry I will be aok (how does one type that...A OK? a.o.k?).

ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA! No more calculus! The last week and a half has been a whirlwind of studying, traveling, working, and far too little sleeping. However, finals are over, I had a good time at home, the eye doctor says I haven't gone blind yet, and work is almost done! Speaking of work...let me tell you of the wonders of Sigma Chi. No, I haven't gone Greek....I just live with them....67 of them to be precise. This week K-State is playing host to the largest gathering of Sigm Chi brothers, and annual leadership summit; 1400 men ranging from ages 18 to 80, from nearly every state and several areas of Canada. Among their most interesting activity has to be the abduction of one hall's 2 lb. goldfish from its community aquarium. I kid you not....but I am glad to say that monstrosity of a fish gone from an otherwise beautiful tank. Unfortunately, the kidinapping included our beloved bala shark as well, what hideous fate has befallen this creature of beauty I dare not ponder. The seconds tick slowly to midnight, so I will entertain myself with the wonders of online gaming, farewell.

Ok, the Bettas didn't hatch ...they just stayed little black dots in bubbles. The good news is that I played volleyball tonight, had a great weekend with Sam, Shannon, and others, had a great meal last night at Melissa's, and go to work at 5 am! Ok, that last one, maybe not so great...but the rest is all good! I think I am going to consolidate into one tank and maybe a jar or two for the other bettas. Anyways, sorry to disappoint any of you, but thats life. To those heading back to school soon, travel safe....I just want to be done with class! Finals: 4 days and counting!

Ok, The Bettas should be born any hour now...but I am nervous. When they first laid eggs I could see about 20 or so attached to the bubble nest; this morning I could only see 5. Hopefully the majority of them are hiding or have hatched and I just don't know it. All this worry over little black dots!

The long silence is broken! Ending last week almost killed me, but I was successful in both of my tests! Perhaps next time I will finish studying more than 2 minutes before the test is supposed to start. My hard work was rewarded by an excellent weekend with friends and family. Saturday I saw "Crazy for You" at Theatre in the Park, and it was a beautiful evening. I made great use of my camera and got some black mail photos of several individuals (you know who you are, muwahahahahaha!). Sunday I got Mom's homemade breakfast and then got to see Sam! Yes, the old boy survived Europe and has returned to the states...ladies beware . He has some awesome pics and stories, so all you OE and K-State people be sure to drop him a line. I also went to see "The King and I" at "Starlight," all I can say is WOW! I think theater will outlast TV, and, hopefully, will soon overtake the zombie machine to become the world's foremost viewing pleasure. Think that does it for now, until next time adios!
